Lease A Car And Discover BC This Fall
The license plates on our new vehicles say it all: “Beautiful British Columbia”. Now that the influx of summer tourism has died down a little, and the leaves are starting to turn golden, it’s time for us to get out and explore our province a little bit, and the best way to do that is by checking out one of our cars for lease in Vancouver and getting yourself something with a little trunk space (for the various activities you’ll get up to). Leasing is optimal for the BC adventurer, as it ensures that you’ll always have a new car, one which you can depend on not to get you stuck out in the middle of the Kootenays somewhere, and you can continue to re-lease cars with the best fuel economy, meaning that you never have to pay as much for gas as others on the road.
Leasing is ideal for anyone unsure of where they’ll be in the next five years, because, let’s face it, once you discover some of these beautiful BC spots, you might very well want to move there. At AUTO ONE Group, we know what it’s like to be stuck without a vehicle – it’s happened to some of us – and we know how difficult it can be to really take advantage of all that Vancouver, and the rest of BC, has to offer. Here, we’ll look at just a few of the highlights of British Columbia in the fall, and how leasing a car can get you there quicker, and with more cash in your wallet.
Let’s start with Vancouver Island, which at an area of over 31,000 square kilometers is roughly the size of the entire country of Belgium, and contains a multitude of great destinations that you can really only reach by car. First up, you’re going to want to drive to Tofino, where the surf and beach culture extends well into fall, and there are some of the finest taco trucks west of, well, Vancouver. For regular trips to Tofino, we’d recommend leasing a new Subaru Outback, which has the roomy interior and trunk space to fit surfboards, wakeboards, tents and whatever else you want to get up to there.
From Tofino, you’re going to want to drive to Cathedral Grove, the famous 157-hectare stand of ancient Douglas-fir trees, and take in the massive, towering natural beauty. It’s one of the only highway accessible ways to view these old growths, so again a car is a must, and if you’re looking to make this a regular stopover on your trips to Tofino, consider doing the natural beauty a favor and looking at one of our lease car deals on hybrids or electrics, which, aside from being environmentally friendly are also economical.
Cap off your stay on Vancouver Island with a night in Victoria, strolling along the charming inner or the less touristy James Bay area, where on windy days in the fall the breakwater is particularly entertaining. Then it’s a ferry to Tsawwassen back to mainland, where you can sneak in one last beach day just a half hour drive away at the wonderful Crescent Beach.
Take a weekend sometime to explore the wineries around the Okanogan, or even head to Whistler before the winter rush to take in the scenery. For these longer trips, you may even want to look into buying a vehicle from our inventory of used cars which are affordable and which you can take on as many trips as you want without you worrying about the mileage.
There are, of course, other reasons why leasing a car is an amazing way to drive – because the payments are monthly, you don’t have to put up a lot of money up front, allowing you to travel with more disposable income; also, you can get a new car every few years, meaning you’re always driving the best. But maybe the best reason, given how naturally awesome this province is, is that it opens you up to a whole world of fun and adventure.
