Kevin Andrews: Investment Banker, Rally Enthusiast, and Founder of AUTO|ONE

Kevin Andrews is an investment banker turned automotive entrepreneur. He is known not just for his financial acumen but for his passion for all things automotive. He is the CEO of Corpfinance International Limited, Ceres BioSystems, and AUTO|ONE Group, a direct extension of Kevin’s lifelong passion for cars.

Kevin joined CFI in the early 90’s and subsequently pioneered the first non-bank asset-backed securitization of auto and lease financings funded by commercial paper in Canada. CFI has raised over $4 billion in capital and currently manages more than $1.25 billion in assets on behalf of institutional investors. Under Kevin’s leadership, CFI has played a pivotal role in funding and developing hydroelectric dams, co-generation plants, healthcare facilities, and a variety of other infrastructure projects. 

In the wake of the 2008 recession, he acquired and consolidated several leasing companies, forming AUTO|ONE Group and building it into one of Canada’s most unique automotive leasing providers. Under Kevin’s leadership, AUTO|ONE Group has grown to offer leases on everything from luxury and exotic cars to commercial and even classic vehicles, a natural extension of his own enthusiasm for vintage automobiles.

In 2014, Ceres BioSystems, a high-growth natural fertilizer operation in India, was created – Kevin sold the predecessor company N-Viro Systems Canada, after having acquired and expanded its operations in Canada from one to seven plants, within the Private Infrastructure Equity Fund he operated. Recently Ceres BioSystems has expanded into Egypt with plans to work with the government and implement long-term solutions for waste management. 

Beyond business, Kevin is a seasoned rally participant, having driven in events like the Gumball 3000, Bullrun, and the Atlantic Road Trip. Whether he’s behind the wheel of a Porsche 928, a Ferrari 360, or a Maserati GranSport, Kevin brings the same philosophy to his personal life as he does to business: it’s not just about the destination, it’s about the journey, the experience, and the memories made along the way. Whether he’s reviving a forgotten MG from a Toronto laneway or ripping donuts in the rooftop parkade to celebrate the end of a rally, Kevin brings passion and fun to everything he does.

Kevin is also heavily involved in Brain Cancer Canada. Last year, AUTOONE Group and The Andrews Family donated $100,000 to Brain Cancer Canada, the largest one-time donation, in loving memory of Dwayne Andrews, Kevin’s younger brother.
